Trust Administrator – 15 hours per week

To work within our Trust Administration Service

Salary £24,700 pro rata: £10,013 for 15 hours

Charity Link helps thousands of local people facing poverty, hardship or crisis. We help by finding funds for people and children in need to purchase basic items such as beds, cookers, clothing, and in emergencies, food.  We also run a growing trust administration service and are now looking to expand our team and recruit a new Trust Administrator.

You will be responsible for managing a portfolio of charities and trusts providing a range of clerkship and administrative services, and advice on the constitution and governance of charities.  Training and support in the role will be provided as needed.

The post will be based mainly at the Leicester office but will require some travel in Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire to attend trustee meetings, etc.

You will need to have excellent communication skills, a good level of numeracy and literacy, be computer literate and be able to deal effectively with a wide range of people. It is also essential that you are a team player and can demonstrate your ability to work well under pressure to meet deadlines and targets alike and demonstrate a willingness to learn new skills. You will need to be able to drive, have a full clean driving license and regular access to a vehicle.

We intend to interview for the post on Monday 19th February and Tuesday 20th February. If you will be unavailable for interview on either of those dates, please advise us of this when you submit your application.

Should you be shortlisted, interviews will take around 45 minutes and will be followed by a test lasting 45 minutes.
