Once again this coming January Charity Link will be highlighting the issue of poverty in our local communities with ‘Poverty Action Week’.
As always the Friday of the week (27th) will see colleagues, pupils, friends and family get wrapped up for our annual dress up event, ‘Wear a Funky Scarf Day’.
We need your support to help create a ‘buzz’ around the day and to encourage others to get involved. By wearing your most favourite or funky scarf on the day you can help focus attention on the fact that many vulnerable local people cannot afford to keep warm over winter or have to make an awful choice between eating or turning on the heating on a regular basis.
Help us to make a difference – support Wear a Funky Scarf Day – or get involved in other Poverty Action Week activities.
