How are you supporting Poverty Action Week?

Poverty Action Week has arrived. From today until 31st January, Poverty Action Week aims to get people thinking about the issue of local poverty and learning more about Charity Link’s work, helping people in poverty, hardship or crisis, and showing their support.

We would love your support – whether that is sharing our posts on Facebook and Twitter to help spread the word, buying a ‘Supporting Poverty Action Week’ pin badge, taking part in ‘Wear a Funky Scarf Day’ on Friday, visiting our shop at the Wot Space Shop at the Shires during the week, or dropping off some food for our food bank to our Foody Bus on Humberstone Gate tomorrow. You can find all the details at www.charity-link.org/poverty-action-week

Please tell us if you plan to get involved and what you are up to to help local people in poverty, hardship or crisis. Thank you!
