Braunstone Town Mayor raises over £4,800!

In May last year Shabbir Aslam was elected as Town Mayor of Braunstone and kindly chose Charity Link as his charity of the year.

A range of fundraising activity took place during his term in office, which has now come to an end, and we are delighted to now have a fundraising total – an amazing £4857.82!

Many thanks to Shabbir and all the team at Braunstone Town Council who supported the activities and the many members of the local community who also lent their support. Due to the unique way in which Charity Link works we can provide nearly £25,000 worth of vital items to local people as a result – a huge thank you to all involved.
