Life has been very tough for Daylan and his two children.

Life has been very tough for Daylan and his two children. They spent time living in a depressing, damp flat as, due to the pandemic, repair work was being prioritised by the council and they were unable to get improvement work progressed. Daylan has been looking for work to help create a better home for his family but so far he has been unsuccessful. When the family’s cooker broke, this added to Daylan’s distress as he was unable to afford to replace it which meant he wasn’t able to prepare the meals he wanted to for his children. Thanks to your support, we’ve been able to provide a new cooker for Daylan and his two young children to help make life a bit easier.

"It’s fantastic to see all the ways the community comes together to improve the lives of people in need. From undertaking challenges, to dress-up days, quizzes, raffles and cake-bakes, to donating, setting up a regular gift, volunteering or spreading the word, it all helps to ensure people living in hardship are warm, safe and fed and have the basics in life that we all deserve."
