Helping Claire to make a fresh start...

Claire was referred by her tenancy support officer after facing many challenges. Whilst pregnant she left the father of her children due to domestic violence. The baby was born with a serious health issue and needed surgery. Claire stayed with family to help support her but the overcrowding meant she couldn’t remain any longer and she is now setting up home for herself and her children, but funds are extremely tight. She couldn’t afford the fridge freezer the family desperately needed but your support has enabled us to provide this item which is so essential for the family, not only to store food but also medication. Thank you!

"It’s fantastic to see all the ways the community comes together to improve the lives of people in need. From undertaking challenges, to dress-up days, quizzes, raffles and cake-bakes, to donating, setting up a regular gift, volunteering or spreading the word, it all helps to ensure people living in hardship are warm, safe and fed and have the basics in life that we all deserve."
