After years of domestic violence, Paige escaped with her young son, Adam.
After years of domestic violence, Paige escaped with her young son, Adam. This meant leaving their home and most of their belongings behind.
Adam is highly traumatised by what he has witnessed and Paige is also getting support for her severe anxiety and depression.
The pair have been rehomed but the new tenancy was unfurnished.
Paige is desperate to create a safe, secure home for Adam after all they have been through, but on Universal Credit, and after essential costs such as food and utilities, she didn’t have enough money to buy all the essentials the family needed.
We have helped the family by providing a bed for Adam and a fridge freezer for their flat. This is making a positive impact on their wellbeing and their belief in a brighter future together.
