Charity Link has helped people in need in Leicester since 1876 and we now work across Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire to help change the lives of people in hardship and crisis.

We change lives by providing essential items, including food, clothing (including school uniforms), beds, cookers, fridges, washing machines and mobility equipment. We also help with the cost of utilities.

This support helps to improve health, wellbeing and dignity and works to ensure that people are not held back by circumstance so that they can reach their full potential in life.

We help people of all ages and backgrounds facing hardship or crisis. We support people with mental and physical health challenges, the victims of domestic violence, vulnerable elderly people, carers, people with a disability and increasingly working families struggling to make ends meet. A third of the people we help are children and young people.

Together, with the support of the local community, we make a massive difference. Last year we helped over 6,500 people in need and provided essential items worth over £1.7m.

The number of people desperate for our help continues to rise due to the cost of living crisis and we need your help to meet this rising need.
