Charity Link helps mark 160 years of the FTCT
Charity Link was delighted to attend the Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust 160th birthday event last night (17th June) at The House of Lords.
The Trust has been supporting families in fashion and textiles since 1853, and is one of the many Trusts that Charity Link approaches for grants for local people in need.
Her Majesty the Queen has been a patron of the Trust since 1950 and Charles Dickens was a keen supporter and their Chairman of Appeal in 1865.
Today FTCT’s purpose remains to support families in the modern day fashion and textile industry – including clothes shops, supermarkets, factories and more.
We would like to take this opportunity to wish Fashion & Textile Children’s Trust – who we have been working with for 40 years – a happy 160th birthday!
