Leicestershire Three Peaks Challenge
September 24, 2023
Charity Link’s Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge is a 16 mile walk (or run!) around beautiful Charnwood countryside taking place each September. Challengers tackle Bardon Hill (Leicestershire’s highest point), Old John in Bradgate and Beacon Hill to raise funds.

Our award-winning* Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge is now open for registration!
Will you join us on Sunday 24th September to walk (or run if you prefer!) 16 miles and take on the peaks of Bardon Hill (Leicestershire’s highest point), Old John in Bradgate Park and Beacon Hill – all to raise funds to support people in hardship?
Last year 120 amazing Challengers took on our unique 16 mile route, helping to raise £15,000 to ensure local people in need are warm, safe and fed. Help to make a massive difference this year by signing up to our award-winning event! This year’s event is set to be even bigger and better than ever.
The Challenge will start and finish at our Proud Business Supporter Club members Bawdon Lodge Farm in the heart of the beautiful Charnwood Forest and we are very grateful for the Farm’s support. We are also indebted to our event supporters, including HCB Solicitors (see more about our event supporters below).
Before registering please read our 2023 event pack to ensure you (and any team members) know what the Challenge entails. This also contains details of all this year’s registration options You can then pay for the the appropriate registration option in our online shop. Please also read our important information on parking.
Complete your registration form: When you receive your acknowledgement email after paying for your registration, on the bottom of the email you will find a link to our online registration and disclaimer form. Every person taking part in the Challenge must complete this form prior to Challenge day (but asap after registration please to help with our planning please!) You won’t be able to take part if this form is not completed. If you have paid for a team place / are team captain, please ensure all team members are given the link and that each member completes a registration form, as this includes important information (such as emergency contact details) which are retained by our support team on the day.
We will then confirm your registration and keep in touch with all the details you need as Challenge day approaches.
Registrations will close on Monday 18th September (or before if places are full) – so don’t miss out! We do hope to welcome you to the team taking on this fantastic Leicestershire charity challenge soon!
Volunteers wanted – help on the day!
Along with Challengers to take part, we are are also looking for volunteers who would like to help out on the day. This could be helping with morning registration, hosting a ‘cheering post’ or refreshment point along the route or helping at the finish-line. If you would like to get involved or have any questions, please email rachel.markham@charity-link.org
