How are you supporting Poverty Action Week?

Poverty Action Week is here!

The week runs from 22nd – 28th January and aims to highlight the fact that many local people are living in hardship right now – but we can all come together to make a difference.

Poverty is an issue locally – find out more by clicking here.

Doesn’t everyone deserve to have adequate food, shelter and the means to keep warm, clean and rested, no matter what crisis, illness, disability or difficulty they may be facing?

There are lots of ways to get involved to show your support for local people in hardship.

Could you go without your usual bought morning coffee or lunch and donate the money you save?

Is your place of work or school supporting Wear A Funky Scarf Day on Friday?

Have you signed up to our Sleepover on Saturday?

You can also help by sharing our posts on social media (@charitylink on Facebook and Twitter).

Together we can make a difference to the lives of the most vulnerable in our local communities.

Thank you!
