Impact Review 17 / 18

Our latest Impact Review for the last financial year is now available. As you will read, it has been a busy year!

With no end to the freeze on working age benefits, many families are continuing to struggle to make ends meet. It is hard for many to imagine that families in Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire are living right now without the very basics in life that we all deserve – such as adequate food, suitable clothing and the means to keep warm, clean and rested – but that is the shocking reality. Whilst there remains a huge demand for our services, the good news is that your support is continuing to improve the lives of thousands of local people.

Together, last year, we:

  • Raised £769,161 in charitable funds for local people in desperate need
  • Changed the lives of 5,214 local people, 38% of whom were deprived children and young people
  • Provided 4,117 items, including clothing, beds, cookers, washing machines and mobility equipment, along with supporting those in food and fuel poverty

Thank you for helping to change so many local lives.
