Launch of Christmas ‘Buy a bed’ campaign

This Christmas we are asking you to give a special gift to help children in need to have a bed of their own.

Research has shown that one in ten children is experiencing bed poverty.*

Charity Link works in a unique way, untapping funds from charitable trusts, which means that every £35 raised or donated is enough to buy a bed.

So, whether you can give £1, £10, £35 or more, it will make a massive difference. Our aim is to raise funds to provide 400 beds this Christmas**.

Lily’s story

I find it hard to sleep. I worry about my mum’s illness and  know my family doesn’t have much money. That’s the reason I don’t  have a bed of my own. My old bed broke and there is no money to replace it. I share a small bed with my little brother or sometimes sleep on the floor. I often feel sad and tired.
This Christmas, Lily isn’t wishing for new toys or tech. What she’d really love is a bed of her own.
