LEICESTER CHARITY LINK GOLF DAY
Flowers Associates and Creative 62 will be hosting a golf day to raise much needed funds for Leicester Charity Link. The golf day will take place on Friday 7th October in the beautiful surroundings of Stapleford Park. Anthony King, local comedian and golfer, will be on hand to entertain guests with his unique brand of dry wit and observational comedy. Proceeds raised on the day will be donated to Leicester Charity Link.
This golfing experience costs £250 for a team of four, which includes tea, coffee and bacon rolls on arrival, 18 hole green fees at Stapleford Park and a two course buffet lunch served in the grand hall. An awards presentation and raffle will also take place on the day. To book a team please contact Susan McEniff at Leicester Charity Link on 0116 222 2212, email firstname.lastname@example.org or book online at www.charity-link.org/events.
Adam Flowers, Consulting Director at Flowers Associates, said “last year was the first time we held an event like this and I’m glad to say it was a huge success. I am delighted to be involved again this year”
Mark Robinson, Director at Creative 62, said “We’ve been developing our relationship with Leicester Charity Link for a while and looking for a suitable opportunity to get involved. Leicester Charity are a local charity helping vulnerable children, young people, families and the elderly who are experiencing poverty, hardship or crisis throughout Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland. Each year the charity helps over 5,000 vulnerable people by providing items that most of us take for granted such as a bed to sleep in, a cooker to prepare a hot meal and, in emergencies, food! These items may not cost much but they can make a massive difference and change people’s lives for the better.
