Leicester Charnwood Lions donate £4,000

Huge thank you to the Leicester Charnwood Lions who kindly presented Rachel from the team with a cheque for £4,000 recently.

Celebrating their 50th year, with the motto ‘Together, we can’, this year’s President Bhikhu Hindocha (who himself has been a member for nearly 50 years), kindly chose to support our work this year and funds have been raised through fundraising including a golf day in September.

The group has nearly 40 members who are committed to serve those in need. They meet monthly in Wigston. If you may be interested in learning more about the Club visit the Leicester Charnwood Lions website.

Due to our unique way of working, we can turn this donation of £4,000 into £20,000 of essential items!
