Shadow Fundraising Card

Description

Katherine Sheard is an artist based in Leicestershire who specialises in using graphite pencils to bring a unique likeness to her subjects, with much of her work having an animal focus.

When Katherine learnt of Charity Link’s work she was keen to get involved, and, as her work is featured on a range of products, including luxury cards, the idea of a special fundraising card was born!  Much of Katherine’s work is drawing commissions for people, such as a much loved pet.  Discussing the subject matter for our design, we came up with the idea of featuring an animal that we can spot during Charity Link’s Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge each September – the alpaca!   This was perfect as Katherine had recently met a friendly local girl called Shadow – and she is now the star of our new fundraising card!

For each card sold for £2.50, Katherine is kindly donating £1.90 so – by just by purchasing this lovely card, you will be helping to provide essential items for people in need throughout Leicester, Leicestershire, Rutland and Northamptonshire!

Each card comes individually wrapped with envelope.
