Readings raises over £6,000 for Charity Link!
Readings Property Group are marking International Day of Charity today (5th September), by pledging its ongoing support.
So far Readings have donated over £6,000 to help ensure that the most vulnerable people in Leicester receive the essential items they need to ensure a decent standard of living.
Readings chose Charity Link to be its partner in January 2016 and has since been donating to us upon each successful property sale. Readings also encourages clients to match this donation and has raised further funds via an auction, office cake sales and by supporting Wear a Funky Scarf Day in January.
Due to our unique way of working Readings support of £6,174 has actually helped to provide over £30,000 worth of items to vulnerable local people since the launch of the partnership.
Will Ravenhill, Director at Readings, says: “The team at Readings passionately believes in Charity Link’s work and we know that our support is helping many vulnerable local people to create a more happy, safe and secure home, which is fantastic.
“We look forward to strengthening our relationship and helping to raise more funds to help the local community in the future via our support of Charity Link”.
Amy Wood from the Readings Lettings Team will be taking part in our upcoming Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challenge on 24th September. Readings is also supplying goodie bags for those taking part in the event.
Thanks to all the team at Readings for their amazing support, and to all their clients who have showed their support.
