Schools – pledge to support Funky Scarf Day in Jan!
As part of our Poverty Action Week activities, Wear a Funky Scarf Day (WFSD) will be taking place on Friday 27th January 2017.
We think WFSD is a great way for local children to learn a bit about local poverty (not all children go home to a warm home at night, or even have a bed to sleep on) whilst also having a great time.
We’ve already written to hundreds of schools and colleges to ask for their support but if you are a member of a local school community and can help to get WFSD on the school’s fundraising calendar, we would be so grateful. Staff and students can simply wear their most funky or favourite scarf (or other neckwear) and donate a small amount for taking part. There are lots of other fun fundraising activities that can also be added to the day.
We can provide resources like posters, stickers, certificates etc.

Thank you!
