Shoe Zone and Stead & Simpson raise £4,000 for Leicester Charity Link which is no mean feat

All the staff at Shoe Zone and Stead & Simpson have been busy fundraising for Leicester Charity Link at their head office and throughout local stores since November 2009. Activities have included collecting money in all of the local stores, car washing in swim wear during winter and fancy dress to boot.

Charles Smith, Deputy Chief Executive of Shoe Zone, said “We are delighted to be involved with Leicester Charity Link and see the money raised by our staff go to such worthy causes, helping many people at the very point of crisis and making a difference”

Susan McEniff, Director of Marketing & Fundraising at Leicester Charity Link, said “I would like to thank all the staff at Shoe Zone for raising an amazing £4,000. Due to the way in which we work we will be able to convert the £4,000 raised into £20,000 by accessing charitable funds that are available to help individuals in need. All of that £20,000 which will go to those in desperate need in our community!”
