Thanks to our amazing Challengers

Well, what can we say, except today’s Leicestershire 3 Peaks Challengers are AMAZING!! You should be soooo proud of yourselves.

It certainly was a challenge this year!

But with a plan B and a plan C due to the awful weather and everyone’s enthusiasm to still give things a go – to ensure we were raising funds to support people in need – over 100 people set off in their waterproofs, to tackle a re-routed course that was still three peaks (but, due to safety, missing one out and doing another twice).


Massive thanks also to Bawdon Lodge Farm for all their support and to our wonderful volunteers who helped make it a special day, despite all the challenges. And to Joe Orson, Chairman of Leicestershire County Council for setting us off on our walk and for also completing the Challenge himself.
We are so grateful to you all – and on behalf of all those your support will help, a massive and heartfelt thank you!

At times the rain was torrential and the fog so much you couldn’t see the next gate – but everyone’s spirits were so positive.

Everyone deserved a medal for taking part today – and thankfully they got a lovely one thanks to Total Industrial Engraving – and some other treats at the finishline thanks to Steven Mather Solicitor.
