Zard’s story
Zard was unable to work and his family’s low income meant they were unable to afford the basics in life…
Zard and his family have been struggling. With four children to look after, including one child with a disability, and being unable to work for the past two years due to a heart condition, Zard and his wife are in the process of applying for some additional benefits to help them get by. They have recently had to move to an unfurnished tenancy and had no way to afford the items they needed for their new home. They were extremely worried about getting into debt they wouldn’t be able to repay or how they could care for their children without the essentials they needed. We were able to help with a cooker, a washing machine and a fridge freezer to help them make their new accommodation a home and to help make life less of a constant struggle going forward.
