Deborah’s story
When Deborah’s friend was preparing for her to come home after she was in hospital after an attack, it was discovered Deborah’s cooker and fridge weren’t working…
Deborah, who is in her seventies, was knocked over by a group of young people on bikes and ended up in hospital with internal bleeding and broken ribs. A friend was preparing for her to return home after her time in hospital. She found that both Deborah’s cooker and fridge were in disrepair, with the cooker being unsafe. It came out that Deborah hadn’t been able to afford to replace these items on her low income and had been struggling without.
Your support has enabled us to provide these essential items for Deborah who is now back at home continuing her recovery.
